15.5g vs 16g staples- Medium / Standard / 16g

Laying some new flooring and need to purchase a Medium or 16g stapler for the underlayment.


Question- I see 16g staples AND 15.5g staples

are they interchangeable?

Looking to scoop up a gun and staples tomorrow AM, please chim if you got experience running these.
