Hey Guys,

So... our online store that specializes in pegboards and garage organization products made 100% in the USA (http://wallpegstore.com) recently hooked up the Garage Journal to offer a special coupon code for Alliance members. However, we messed up and our coupon expired, and I don't know how to get a new coupon code added for the alliance members to see and be able to access.

So in the meantime, to make up for our screw-up, we are offering 15% off any purchase on our site to ALL Garage Journal members (alliance or not). Use the coupon code GJ15 and receive 15% off your purchase at WallpegStore.com. This coupon will be good at least until the end of April, so knock yourselves out.

Thanks!

very nice I might have to change up my wall at the fiber board peg board is a little week for some stuff

Thanks Patrick. We actually did a blog post in December about how the tough-polymer plastic board and pegs we use provide some advantages over traditional masonite pegboards and metal hooks: http://wallpegstore.com/masonite-pegboards-vs-wallpeg-pegboard/.

We also carry all our boards in black as well as white if the all-white look is not your thing. Our Jumbo Style Flex Lock Hooks are designed for holding heavier items: http://wallpegstore.com/product/pegboard-hooks/jumbo-style-flex-lock-peg-hooks/.

Cheers

I bought these hooks on ebay last summer, they are the real deal. They fit tight and stay in unless you pry them out. Makes the whole pegboard thing a lot nicer since the hooks don't fall out. The only downside is that these are a tight fit in 1/4 inch holes. Most of the pegboard available at lowes, HD, etc, is not made in the US. It has metric holes that are almost 1/4 inch. So, you either have to push real hard or drill out the peg board to 1/4 inch. I just drilled the holes I used, it is worth the extra trouble to have hooks that stay put.

I spoke with you recently and ended up ordering a few of your products. Just got my first order this week and am super happy with the clips and the little box type holders. Never thought I would like a plastic pegboard hook but I do.

I got your L hooks the other day. First thing I did was try to break a couple of them. I was able to break them but the force it took convinced me that under everything but the most extreme abuse, they would hold up well. By extreme abuse, I mean stuff like trying to hang a floor jack on one. They will break. But if someone is stupid enough to do that, they have problems a heavier peg won't cure.

Biggest complaint. They are too fat for some of my tools (and it has to be that way), and the upward angle was a problem with a few tools. Other than that I was pleased with your product.

Glad you're liking our stuff 22rifle!

As for the size issue, I have been talking to the designers about the problem you encountered and we are in the process of testing out some smaller sizes. Thank you so much for your feedback!
