THWN - Thank you. I was not thinking about this.
I have to use sofit. Planning shape conduit so one part is parallel to a rafter, other part parallel to exterior wall and sneak it through a hole in soffit. I have a sofit vent near by so I can see and drive conduit using it. The part of the conduit that is parallel to the rafter will be secured by hangers and terminated with junction box. Hope this is compliant to the code?
Looks like disconnect operating handle should be below 6'7", correct?
You're going to have a terrible time getting conduit run through the soffit and over the top of the wall in the attic. Try this instead. Run the conduit up the exterior wall and through the hole in the soffit. Push UF through the conduit and when it hits the bottom of the roof, it should go over the top of the wall. Make yourself a hook so you can grab it in the attic and drag it over to where you can work with it. I've done similar quite a few times only, and I'm probably gonna get beat up over this, I put the UF through the hole and get everything run, then I go back and slip the pipe over the cable. Yep, I'm a hack that doesn't follow the code to the "T". And yes, you have to be under 6'7"

OK. If I'm reading right there are two pipes one outside, inserted in to the hole in the sofit and second slip over from other end of the cable from attic? How to join them? And in general is this a compliant with the code: 3/4 in. EMT Compression Coupling

No. Only one pipe and it's on the outside wall to sleeve UF. The UF can run exposed through the attic to wherever your junction box is. It could go all the way to the panel if you like.
