Hey everyone. I have been stalking GJ for a while now just racking up ideas and making myself jealous. Figured it was about time i threw mine out there although it pales in comparison to some of these awesome garages. I just got back from Afghanistan in August and purchased a nice little home for the wife and I. 1600 sq ft with a quaint 15x30 attached garage. I have a few many toys for this size garage but I also have a 20 foot enclosed race trailer out back for temporary storage and a nice little shed for the lawn equipment.

getting everything moved in. a lot more stuff than i anticipated. Im still trying to acquire more storage space

started moving some toys in.
this workbench was mostly made out of scrap metal. the frame is an old hydraulic drain table and the top is thick metal shelving with a piece of sheet metal on top that i was able to recycle. was going to use a stainless countertop but i figured free is better.
here is another of the earlier photo but with the finished workbench. sorry i dont have many pics of the actual development. I was timid to post my garage in the first place:eek:

now for some of the smaller details. I like to decorate with recycled things. My wife found an idea online for dirtbike tires so i decided to try my hand at it. i figured they would be perfect for my retired helmets

Great space. The odd size of 15x30 should give you space for one car in front and bikes in back if the do it right. I like the repurposed bench and shelves. I don't ever be timid to post your place. Its your garage and be proud of it.

Have a good one Gerard

got some cabinets for the garage. the yellow one is a chemical cabinet, the black one is a large 8 foot tall locker, and then the tan one is a kicker cabinet that i will use for jacks and jack stands etc. Theyll be cleaned up and painted black to match the rest of the garage. and the best part.... they were free!

I unloaded my 20 foot enclosed trailer and brought all the toys into the garage. Its a little cluttered right now, started raining outside so had to hurry everything in. 20 foot trailer/ toy hauler project next :bounce:

I like your ideas, look at what have or can get cheaply and make it fit. I'm retired and it is fun to make something out of all the things I have saved(hoarded?) over the years.

Got them from a maintenance facility. A friend got me a hookup. Some were in rough condition but after some sanding, primer, and paint, i must say they turned out pretty well. And they are lista and stanley vidmar cabinets

Everything is looking great. We really appreciate restored or repurposed things here. Redoing saves so much money and says a lot for you and your thoughts. We appreciate your postings and having the pleasure of seeing what you have done.

Great job on those cabinets and the innovation on the tire shelvings!

Best Regards
Herb
