1943 16" jointer (newman #60)

Just got this off the trailer and into the shop. Its a 1943 newman #60 hand jointer. 5hp direct drive 3 phase motor, 5" diameter cutter head. 96" long, 23" wide tables and somewhere between 2300 and 3000 pounds (war spec machines were built heavier, std spec was 2300lbs)

What did you end up paying for this? There's a similar unit for sale locally for $2250

1500 + a spare power feeder i had. That was with delivery ended up including moving it into position and removal of the shipping skid.

Price really depends on condition and how desirable the model is. Northfields go for more $$, Crescents for less.
