Made in China, not Italy! I just bought one but don't know the quality. I don't use a ton of Forstner's so this will probably last me a long time especially with all the different sizes. CMT can make some very high quality wood tools similar to Freud.

I've used the CMT forstners when it was the only readily available option.
They were always good enough to get the job done.
They were never a pleasure to use.
This is a great price for bits to have on hand just in case.

Freud Diablo FB are much better.
Freud Precision PB or Fisch Wave are a joy to use.
Festool or Famag Bormax when only the best will do.
