Everybody step back... While I mount this soapbox!
There is absolutely no Freakin' comparison between the Dewalt and the Snap-ons.
Like Comparing Pee Wee Football to the Green Bay Packers.
Here's my story and I'm stickin to it!
I tore down my Porsche 930 motor at a friends shop. He let me use some of his tools and one of the bays in his shop. I had never used a Cordless impact before. He had the Snappy 3/8" and 1/2". Both were phoenominal! The 3/8" seemed to run all day, and I very seldom needed the 1/2" or air.
So I move on about 24 months and reminisce about how nice those cordless impacts were. Decided since I have all my cordless as Dewalt, and the Snappy is so freakin' expensive, I'll get the Dewalt.
What a useless POS! I'm not convinced that thing can break loose 50 pounds. It sure couldn't ever do a single lug nut. I always had to break them and then spin them off with the Dewalt. It was basically a nut spinner used about 6 times.
When I sold it, it was pristine, because it was never used, because it was worthless..
Now onto where it went:
Ebay Listing
I felt guilty selling it to anyone. Hopefully the guy who got it, don't need much of an Impact. I was very careful in the auction to not brag about the Teeny Tiny Nutz this thing has.
I won't buy the Snappy, I just don't use it enough to justify the expense, but I would LOVE to own one. I just bought 4 Dewalt Lithium batts, and the batts are what **** you in to them.
