18v Porter Cable Question

I have a few corldess 18v porter cable tools and was looking at adding the angle/cutoff grinder and was wondering if it would be worth the $$ to upgrade to the lithium battery packs? I can get 2 of the NiCad batteries for less than it costs for one lithium ion battery. So, I was just curious if the difference in performance was that great and if it would be worth dropping the extra money on. Many thanks for help.

I would upgrade to lithium. Lithium does not fade like NiCad. It runs strong until the battery is out of juice.
