Like many I went with Ridigd power tools because of their lifetime battery warranty. I have several 2 and 4 ah packs that still work great, plus their drills and impacts are great.

However I definitely like Ryobi for my yard tools however dislike buying new batteries every few years.

There seems to be a guy on eBay selling these 3D printed adapters now. They seem kinda steep in price however. Let's hope it can come down some. I'd be interested in the 30's.

When they go on sale I've seen Ryobi 1.5 AH batteries for like $25 at https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com/. btw they seem to have some good prices on Ryobi outdoor stuff. I got some great buys right after Christmas on Ridgid stuff ($20 for a 18v pin nailer)

They have a bunch of stores at outlet mall kind of places. I had gotten a Ridgid hybrid fan for $25.
