This is located in Freeland, MI. Built in the early 1900's and was originally the main house and was then moved. I have always been fascinated by it. May try and duplicate it for my new shed I need. Few years back I saw the caretaker there and he let me look inside. Today I was thinking of taking pictures and when I went by the owner was just arriving. He gave me permission to take the following photos. He didn't have the keys to let me photo inside.

I think the added porches detract from the design.

also, it could be scaled up bigger, with a squatter roofline, and still look good, and retain the heritage look.

Some really nice details and balance in that design.

Would make a great looking shop in the right location.

Beautiful . . . . simply beautiful. Make sure that architect in other gambrel truss thread sees this one . . . . maybe he'd offer to work up some drawings for GJ folks?? ;)
