1930's Atlas bench saw

I won this antique Atlas 8" bench saw at an auction recently for $2 . It came with a fairly new 1hp motor. I gave it a cleaning and lubrication and installed the motor properly.
Now it runs and cuts as smooth as butter.
This same model was branded as craftsman and sold by sears from about 1937-42.
With the accessory table extensions and motor, The weight is approaching 200lbs!

I have the same saw . You got a Helluva deal. It does the job for me. Here is some info on it that I got with mine.
