So I already know that I have essentially zero chance of getting this saw. It looks like a beauty though. Does anyone here have anything like this?

Yea,a that's a good deal, VFD and all. To answer your other question, I have 2.5 14" wood metal delta saws and a 20" rockwell, all with the gearbox. When I finally move into a larger shop I will keep an eye out for a larger doall or the like.

Yeah, unfortunately someone is probably going to gat a "you ****" deal ahead of you. Great saw, very rugged and well made.

Yeah, depends on how bad you wanted it. That's a good looking saw.
The question becomes , How much are you willing to pay and how bad you want it ? I'm sure he'll sell to the highest bidder.

I have the 14" version without the gear box. Built like a tank. I had to change tires and bearings when I got it but it works great. Makes a good companion to my 20" Crescent/Delta.
