I just purchased a 1945 Unisaw. The locking feature on the adjusting wheels didnt seem to work. I disassembled the saw for paint/bearings/lube etc and found the old wedge style.
As the image shows, for each adjusting wheel I have the knob, spring and two wedges. Is there an additional short rod with grooves in it missing?? I found a couple of images online which seem to show one which I assume the wedges fit inside?
