Hello again everyone, I posted yesterday about my great grandfathers tool box that was passed down to me. Well I have been told it is a KRA-250, a KR-24 and a FB-50 Ferret box. Anyone out there have this same tool box. After hours of research I found 2 boxes that looked like they were the same on as mine, the only problem is they were ebay ads and the sellers didn't know what model they were either! This box has no model #, just MADE IN USA on back. There is a pull out tray, leather handle and a little compartment in the right bottom corner...Here's pictures again, thanks everyone!

Sorry for all the questions. I'm considering selling it now that I have found there are so many individuals out there that appreciate these vintage snap on items, more so then I ever will. I still haven't decided but I know nothing about the price of these vintage tools, and I don't want to be taken advantage of. Thank you again for your response.

Compare the dimensions in the catalog link to your box to make sure it is the same. That's what this forum is for-asking for info---most members enjoy seeing older tools and boxes.

This is actually my first time posting in a forum, if you can't tell! lol. I'm glad I have found the model, I can't seem to find only but a few similar tool boxes when searching on google.

Why don't you keep it and restore it. It was your great grandfathers from 70 or so years ago. Isn't that worth more than the 50/100/200/300 dollars you'd get for it. Clean it up and give it to your kid one day.

This, but I think a box that small, and "relatively" common, is more in the $50 arena...

If I saw that at auction I'd expect to pay no more than $20. Worth way more because it was Grandpa's.

I one exactly likeit, but mine is red. Very faded, & old but looks like it may have also been green at one time.yours looks to be cleaner than mine, & your leather handle is way better than mine. If you find out what part number & year it is let me know.

Thanks everyone, I don't know why the thought of selling it was even an option in my mind. Now that I realize how intrigued I am by the history it has within my family, I don't have it in me to give away some thing with so many memories. The fact this was owned by a great hardworking man, who had passed it down to another hardworking man, my father, lets me know I want to keep this tradition and give it to my son when he's older. I saw the pride in my dads face when he packed with my things at the time my husband and I were being stationed to Fort Campbell. No amount of money could ever replace memories. I appreciate it. Maybe I have found myself a new hobby collecting these vintage tools? Thanks for all the help, and advice everyone, I appreciate it!
