I have been offered $ 200. For this tool chest and the top chest including contents Bottom chest is a 50's craftsman and the top is a Dayton year unknown. Contents are some Craftsman, some Snap-on, Stanley and others.
Is this a fair offer?

Hard to say without knowing how many tools and their make. From outside looking in seems to be fair maybe a little on the low end.

Sounds very low to me. The Craftsman roll-a-round looks rough, but I'd expect it to be sound making a restoration fairly straight forward.

BTW, unless its absolutely of no use/interest to you why sell it?

The Craftsman roller is the object of desire here. Many people are after them and the one in the picture does look in good enough shape for a full restore. I would pay 100 bucks for it alone if I wanted it.

The Dayton is a good box too. My old man has a complete stack and I have always liked the quality. Not many people are after a Dayton box though.

$200 is a fair offer for the boxes if empty, in my opinion. No idea what the contents look like, so it's impossible to make a reasonable assessment from a couple of blurry photos. Can you take better pictures?

Sounds like a good deal to me, I'd probably pay $200 for just the boxes. The Dayton box looks to be in great shape and I've always been a fan of the curvy chrome handled boxes. And the Craftsman is definitely a cool piece.
