I really love those old boxes. The bottom box with the 3 drawers and the bunch of space below it reminds me of some of the lay outs I've seen on the old Crafty Boxes.

VERY NICE. There are a lot of threads about deep cleaning the paint on vintage tool boxes. That might be a good place to start.

You **** on two levels!! First from the deal and second for the cool factor.

Note to Supersport. The conversion to BB slides would be quite labor intense with a lot of grinding to remove welded on friction slides on both box and drawer. Well lubed and high quality friction slides are nice to use. I have some old SO and Vulcan boxes that are friction and sweet. Are they as nice as Krl BB slides,,,,,,,,,no!! Are they better then a cheap BB slide with a thin gauge drawer,,,,,,,,,,,,,OH YEAH!!! BB isn't everything without quality.
