Posted some pictures several years ago. Cleaned half of the garage today, thought I'd share some pictures.

These heavy steel kitchen cabinets were made in America in 1951 and 1952.

What's the story on the racks and green jars? Where did you get those things? They are your hardware storage?

The green jars and rack were small electronic parts storeage for the company where I worked for 36 years. They are also from the 50's. They converted to all new in the stock room in the 70's.

I saved these and the black and white cabinet above the work bench. Those are steel drawers in a wooden cabinet. I use both to hold various fasteners and hardware.

I tend to save lots of stuff. The cabinets with the sink were in the house where I grew up. 1951 Youngstown, made in Ohio. My parents replaced them in the 80's, I saved them in the barn until I could build this garage about 10 years ago.

I removed the L shaped cabinets for an old home that was being remodeled, they were free.

Here's a neat deal I picked up at a flea market for 2 bucks. It holds a role of paper towel, a roll of wax paper and a roll of aluminum foil. Comes in handy

That place looks awesome. Glad to see the cabinets were salvaged and put to better use than just a kitchen!

Small world, my parents are from Ytown and were married there in '50.

Thanks for posting a taste of the past coming back to life.

I have the same kitchen cabinets we removed from our retro kitchen 18 years ago.
Mine are puke yellow.
There are in my basement now as a second kitchen, and wasteing space.
I am thinking, now that I see your garage pics, they might look good in my garage!
...Oh the trouble you getting my muscles into!!!!
Nice look for the garage!!!

Cumberland Old Hickory Yacht Club are the mugs in question. Not real fancy, just good people. Don't have a big boat in a Marina anymore.

Pictures of Goodguys rodders rep. pick, truck and boat attached. 1955 truck, 1959 Tomahawk Ski Mate boat. Pictures are from Powerblock a couple of years ago.

Had the truck restored, did the boat myself with help from my wife and a friend. It sat in a field for 30 years and had trees growing in it.

Excellent job on the cabinets. I derusted, cleaned and spray painted some 50's cabinets in a student apartment I had years ago. I wish I had taken pictures.

I would really like to see some more pictures of your boat and the vintage trailer it's on.

Your Cabinets are awesome. What is the material of the floor? Is it tile? I remember seeing your cabinets on a post a while ago and the color combo that you have was inspiration for my garage. Your truck and boat are sweet as well!

On Edge: The floor is VCT

Cougar 67, More pictures of the boat and trailer. The trailer is a Tennessee Trailer from 1959.

I also included a picture of my 1957 Chevy wagon. I was lucky to find it on Craigslist. Bought it from the great grandson of the original owner. Only 64,000 miles. It is a driver, but a fun car. 6 clylinder three on the tree.

Thank you folks for the kind remarks.

Very nice garage. I had to laugh at the "Delco Pleasurizers" cabinet. Most people probably wouldn't think of shock absorbers when the hear "pleasurizer".

Yes, that is a bread box. I store saw blades in that one. There are two more on the straight cabinets with vintage STP stickers. I store all kinds of tape in them. These old metal bread boxes are available at flea markets for a few bucks.

Very nice! I had those steel cabinets in an old apartment I lived in in Pasadena, CA back in 1990 - great repurpose and wish I could find some now!
