I just got this 1/4" drive ratchet. It is obviously made by Herbrand (it is identical to the M-5) , but it is marked Bonney V-701-H.

I knew that Herbrand made ratchets for Billings in the 1950's (Herbrand actually owned Billings for several years), but I did not know that they also made tools for Bonney.

Does anyone know if this ratchet appeared in any Bonney catalogs of that era, and are there versions in 3/8" and 1/2" drive?

Thanks for the information. I probably don't want to part with it, I collect ratchets. I might consider trading, if you have something interesting to offer.

I have lots of interesting stuff......probably 500+ ratchets. What do you desire?
