I’ve got 3-4 Snap-on smaller toolboxes but I’m having trouble identifying this particular box model. It’s stamped but there’s of course a scratch just past the KRA stamp.

I can make out KRA 3? And possibly a 2. Box is 25.5” x 9” x9” in size. Any ideas? I can find the same style in smaller Snap-on boxes but I can’t seem to locate one with these particular dimensions on the internet. Appreciate your thoughts.

Pic of the inside please. Does it have a tray? If there is a date stamp? In my brief looking I didn't see anything other than the KRA32 in the 1970 catalog.

KRA32 is close in length but not 9" by 9". Maybe there is a KRA32 a,b or c that meets those dimesions. Head to Collecting Snap on or Internet Archives and start looking in the catalogs.

Appreciate the reply. I’ll keep catalog browsing. I do think it’s an 1970s variant. The KRA 109 from the early-mid 70s matches it in length but it’s not as wide or as tall as mine nor does it come with a tray.

Added a pic of the tray area—-it’s missing, which always frustrates me on a perfectly good and straight box.

I finally got the lighting angle better and I can see a ‘75 date stamp now.

And in this light I am almost positive it’s a KRA 32 now. Gotta check the ‘75 catalog.

I agree. In 1975 the KRA32 is 25 x 8-3/4 x 8-3/4, It is not shown in the 1978 catalog

Found it!! Its is indeed a KRA-32 from the 1975 catalog 25.5" x 8 3/4" x 8 3/4". There is no tray in the catalog pic so it must have been an optional add.
