Is anyone familiar with this 1951 WEIDENHOFF valve seat grinder Model 688. Made in Algona, Iowa. Kind of unusual valve seat grinder as it uses an abrasive disc instead of a grinding stone. I picked this up at a yard sale last summer that had a lot of small engine parts/tools for sale. Only thing I find on the internet is from worthpoint that one was listed on EBAY in 2013.

interesting, I've got a few old ones that have emery cloth and some with sandpaper on them, I assumed you just replaced the cloth as needed but maybe they were originally supposed to take those discs? or they may actually be for plumbing/faucet seats I was told...
