I’m looking for diagrams/specifications/patent date for this Globe Hoist in gas station built in 1954. Thanks for any and all help. JonellIMG_0017.jpeg

Back in the day, when I worked in a Hydraulic Equipment Repair Shop, we would measure the diameter of the lift cylinder and the diameter of the recess of the seal retainer and get the appropriate parts.
Do you have experience working on hydraulic hoists? Does your hoist have a pump or does it rely on compressed air to raise the lift?
Your location is important, most major cities will have shops that can service your equipment or supply parts for DIY.

Thanks, Nadogail. Mine uses compressed air. The station is up on Columbia Heights, Longview, WA. I have no experience with hoists other than wanting to preserve this one.

Not to be Debbie Downer, but old inground lifts were known for leaking hydraulic oil into the groundwater. If you own the property, that may be something you should look into to protect yourself.
