1963 Craftsman Block Grinder

Hello Guys,

I saw this 1963 Craftsman Block Grinder on CL for $65, what do you think is it worth it? By the way I have to drive 1.5 hours to get it.

Would like hear what you think.

I would try to negotiate the price but I would pay $65 and drive that far if seller was firm on the dollar amount.

If I read the label correct, it's a 3/4 horse grinder. If that's correct, you should already be on the road. If it's smaller, you should still buy it - just don't speed on your way!

I have the same one (missing athe guards from long ago) that I still use as a wire brush spinner. Before that it had a green stone on it and kept my drill bits sharp. it's a 1/3 pony motor, plenty to spin whatever ails you.

Is it worth $65? if it runs, yeah. I'd offer him $40 but have the extra 25 in case he says no...
