1970s Jacuzzi air compressor filter pressure switch

This old air compressor I have inspired me to register. I grabbed an old Jacuzzi air compressor with a Kohler K141 engine on it about a month ago. Works great after 20 minute or so of messing around with it. But I wanted an electric motor for it. There was only one other Jacuzzi air compressor for sale on the internet with the some model compressor head with an electric motor on it, it just happened to be 35 miles away from my house so I went and got it. But it doesn't need much to get it going. So I'm just going to get it going rather than use it for parts, that happens a lot. It needs a new pressure switch and one more air filter. I want a quality replacement pressure switch, any recommendations? And I sure would like to find an air filter similar to this one, the other one was missing. Does anybody know who made this air filter? Itwas so dirty, I didn't even know it was green. Otherwise the compressor works, holds air. I'm going to check the tank, break down the motor and lubricate the bearings, clean it up. I may totally restore it later.

when replacing the pressure switch get one that has on/off switch built in
I have some US made pressure switches that I acquired but most seem to be offshore now.
I could have made the mistake of buying one with no on/off switch, I just noticed some expensive ones on the internet don't have a power lever on them. The original one doesn't. The previous owner was just plugging it in to turn it on, he never really needed it, his wife's family had car repair biz so it just came with his wife haha. Yeah, the China stuff, I guess none are made in the US anymore.

This thing's been a mess, all the way down to the drain plug, somebody xthreaded that. I think that's all that's left to replace, the drain plug. I have one other question, though. One of the cylinders was very greasy on the outside, maybe the whole thing fell on it side for a while, don't know. I noticed the air filters were not placed on the same inlet/outlet on the corresponding cylinders. Was that a mistake somebody made or does it matter what side the air filters are installed?

WOW, you've got a project!
The air filters are probably correct, if the air ***** in as you turn it over they're installed as should be .

I think once I mount the head and motor back on, I'll run the compressor head without the connections attached to see where most of the air is coming out. I have two of these and on the gas powered Jacuzzi, both filters are coming out of the port with the number stamped just above it. I want to take the heads off to see what's going on in there, curious mostly. But I don't want to damage the gaskets and have to make those. Right now, I'm looking at that angle as, if it's not broken, don't fix it, not yet anyway. I got in trouble a lot when I was a kid, playing with my battery powered toys for 2 or 3 days, then getting my dad's screwdriver to find the magic that made it work.

Finished the electric Jacuzzi. Works great, pretty quiet. I wanted to know that before I did more with it. Maybe I'll completely restore it some day with new paint now that I know it works well. There's more original paint than I thought there was, could still use a paint job. Only thing that bothers me is that I know there is junk in the tank. I know how to get that out of there, might as well do it sooner than later.
