Generally, straight 30w non detergent motor oil is used. Operating at 0 degrees C may have to go thinner….? :headscrat

As C96 stated the universal application is a 30w Non-Detergent oil. We run this 24/7/365 here in Denver in tooling that sits outside 100% of the time. If you are concerned about going with a lighter oil the only hard and fast rule is that if there is no oil filter use a non detergent oil. You can vary the weight based on your specific circumstance.
