1973 Ford F-75 Brazil Restoration

Hi everyone!

I would start a thread on here to keep track of my truck restoration, and garner some feedback on the work I am performing. this forum is full of very knowledgeable fabricators.

I bought this pick-up in October/2018 and will publish the photos daily up to the current status. Sorry for my bad english, i use Google translate.

The truck is a 1973 Ford F-75, Willys based model, 1961/1969 Willys, and 1970/1983 Ford, brazilian production, with 6 Cylinder engine 161, 90Hp and 4spd on the column, RWD.

My plans are to put it on the road this year, just with the cabin, and then finish.

The cab looks like an old willies here. The front end is an interesting piece.

This model was designed by Brooks Stevens in 1960 for the Brazilian market. Before 1960 the American model was produced in Brazil.

Obrigado amigo!

The red coating is an oxide primer, it has anti-corrosive capabilities. The gray primer is polyurethane, has a better finish for final painting.
