1973 Snap On tool box

Hi folks,

I have a 1973 Snap On combo box. The boxes are about 26.5" x 18" and I am looking for a middle box. This is kinda an odd ball size. Anyone out there know where one might be for sale?

pics would definitely help alot and on the back is the model number of the box, that would help alot too

That size wasn't odd ball back in 1973. Look on the Collecting Snap on site at the 1973 catalog.

Top box is a KR 533 A......Bottom a KR 558B. I will get some pictures. I think the middle box would be a KR 541 A

Yep, middle for that set is a KR541, 3 drawers, fold down cover. There was a 533/541 for sale a few weeks back locally. I wanted to check it out but had other obligations. It looked pretty rough. Just a heads up it make the set very tall, especially for a 27" stack.

they do get very tipsy with a heavily loaded top box.

especially if you moving it around a lot.

and mid boxes are getting hard to find around here.

most of the ones i've seen are being sold with top/roller cab as a combo.
