I recently acquired a 1974 melben/quincy air compressor.
Looking for some input on what to do with it. I'm fairly handy with tools just not mechanics.
Any advice would be welcome, parts, manuals, or repair shops in Midwest.20240912_100136.jpg20240912_100147.jpg20240919_191020.jpg20240919_161450.jpg20240912_100159.jpg

I bought an American Rotary Phase Converter. After "the dust settled," I was out of pocket over $1479. I have not had a chance to use the phase converter. After looking back, I could have bought a new motor and spent much less. I was in contact with American Rotary and they advised against a VFD because of the heavy start-up loading on a compressor motor.
I am not dead yet, so I may find a use for the ARPC yet. ARPC sell a VFD.

Yes I'm not concerned with it being 3 phase. I was looking for input on repair shops, any manuals or part kits that could be referenced or cross referenced. Thanks for reply.
