1982 k25 gmc 3/4 ton price drop
I have an 82 k25 for sale. I bought it because I needed a 4wd 3/4 ton, the truck is spec ed wrong for my needs, my fault but oh well. I will tell the good and bad about the truck. Its a 350 GM good wrench crate engine with 86k on it, th400 and 4.10 Dana 60s, its a long bed, the truck is currently titled as a half ton, the previous owner had to change the frame and put the half ton cab on a 3/4 ton frame. Ohio says they will retitle it as a 3/4 ton. It has new paint, new brake lines, new ****** lines, new fuel lines, new tires, new rad, new starter, new alternator. New everything, I drove the truck 60 miles home with no problems. It has headers on it with new stainless exhaust and glass packs.
Now the bad, he fixed the cab corners and rockers but not right, he didn't cut off the old ones and fit the new ones he just welded the new ones over the old, it will need and half a floor board on the drivers side, the water temp gauge is broke, fuel gauge is broke, oil pressure isn't hooked up.
Now I'm going to get into the gauges when I get home, he added a set of gauges under the dash I personally like the dash gauges so I'm going to work to get them fixed.
I'm looking for 2800 or best offer or trade for a newer 3/4 ton with taller gears for highway running. I may consider trading for a double or triple bank box.
Pics to follow later tonight.
