Make your mask fit / seal better. Your lungs will thank you when your older!

Nice job on the compressor. I do have a question. Did you just use the Marvel Mystery Oil as a cleaning solvent?

Interested in a PLC controlled alternator for them?

Can you elaborate on exactly what a PLC controlled alternator does?
I've been looking for a magnetic starter for my Kellogg compressor...

Yes I learned my lesson on the mask seal thing!

I know Doug used Marvel Mystery Oil to clean, it takes the oxidation right off. I'm not sure if he used anything else, but the MMO is all that I know of. Maybe he will chime in...

The two systems will run back and forth except under high demand then both will run. They control mag starters.

Ahh that sounds like a great setup. I wont be running both together at this point, but that may be necessary in the future if I start to do alot of bead blasting. What would a PLC setup like that cost?

Well the ones on the market you buy premade are basically an alternating relay but has a fault. You can isolate one compressor but you can't the other. The system I designed you can run only one (if the other is down for service) or alternate. I don't know what the systems usually go for but look up "pump alternator" and you can see what a relay based one goes for.
