For give me guys, I am a little delirious at the moment. I was doing an errand for the wife and I just decided to take a quick glance on Offer Up.
Lord and Behold there was this 3pc Craftsman Tool Chest Set. The guy was asking for $30. I hurried up and messaged him and he said it was a 3pc and he would hold it till the morning. As I was driving home, I was thinking. What if the guy comes to his senses, I hurried up grabbed some cash and got over to his house and handed him the money. Said they moved from North Carolina and he didn't need it any more. He stated a couple doors were sticking and a little dents here and there. Bottom Cabinet has a key broke off, but that can be replaced. Here is some pictures. I will add more because the guy left some tools in the drawer which is super bonus. I did see a Vintage Craftsman V series 1/2" rachet :uzi:

30 bucks?
What a deal!

Nice pick up for sure! 30$ is a great price for that set up.

I do need to put wheels on it, but get a 3 pc tool box set with some tools. Christmas all over again.

Not one of their better boxes but for $30 and not having one, you seriously made the correct choice. You'll be able to get your money back out of it if you ever decide to upgrade to a bigger box.

If you don't have any other box, that is a fine box to have.
I don't need it, but I sure would have bought it as a gift, loaded it with yard sale tools....
That's 30 bucks well spent.

I have my 1st box, but it isn't a Craftsman. This Craftsman Box was made in the USA, which I din't know till I was putting rollers on it. It is stamped on the bottom.

I would have bought for that price, even though I already have 9. You definitely scored on this one.

Same exact unit I've got. I got a deal on mine when brand new and it was 200 bucks. As was said, not one of their best, but if you're like me, and are just a casual tool user, it will last a lifetime. Mine's probably 10 or more years old and still looks and works like new.

I appreciate it. Considering we all waste money on some things, I am happy it only cost $30. It isn't showroom condition, but it was definitely an upgrade to what I had. Wife normally rolls her eyes when I start talking tools, but she was impressed with the condition and size of it. I want to find some older ones of course, just have to wait my time..

Nice tool chest. I have the same set as well, my dad bought it for me for Christmas about 12 years ago. I keep all the craftsman tools he bought me over the years in it.
