Hello all from a city SE of Charlotte. I have been lurking here for many months and I want to thank you all for the idea's, pictures, and knowledge that abound here.

Last winter I purchased a used (and apparently, generally speaking, disliked by many here) metal arched building. It is 30x70. I hired 2 guys to dismantle and move it, and it was much more of a project then I had anticipated. The distance of the move was about 40 miles.

I am now nearing completion of the exterior, and am thinking I might start a thread detailing the process. So, as this is not the place for details, I will finish by again thanking the members and owner(s) of this site, as it is a wonderful resource for all things "man cave" related (or "woman cave!" <---don't mean to discriminate!).

Welcome to GJ, Marshall. An arched building will be a unique starting point. Since it is used, does it have any history to it? War Relic?

Feel free to post a few pix here of what you have, but by all means, start a thread of the move and re-build.

No special history, that I'm aware of. It was used for storage at an industrial gas company in SC. I don't think it's too terribly old, maybe between 10 - 20 years?
