2-2-2-4 use-2

I'm not sure which of the 4 cables is the ground conductor, back to the main panel. The cable has 3 #2 and 1 #4. The #4 has a yellow stripe on it.

the #2 is the ground

On all the MHF sold around here - Southwire - the white striped #2 is the neutral. The green #4 is the grounding conductor. Find the mfg for the wire and look up their web site, they should have a PDF data sheet on the wire.

the 4 is the ground. one of the 2's should have a white stripe on it, that is the neutral

This isn't really the cable you want. The cable you have is meant for power company distribution with 3 "hots" and a neutral. That's why there aren't clearly marked neutral AND ground wires. Plus it's only rated USE-2, so it can't enter a structure. This cable must stay outside.

What you want is mobile home feeder with dual rated insulation (USE-2 and RHH, etc) and marked neutral and ground conductors. This can enter a structure.
