2 Car Garage Build....

My ultimate goal for this project is to be able to anything and everything to my new project minus paint. So it starts....

This kept me busy for a few weekends...I'm pretty sure it weighs more than the bug

This vise could probably hold the bug....

Alright, time to clean this **** up...

And start making this a real garage...

Got some more done this weekend...

Painted the top half a bright white...

Hung a large shelf to hold fenders and such. It si cable suspended from the roof rafters...

Cut some wall out of the closet to make room for the tool box when I get it...

Hung a cabinet for the Mrs with some sweet knobs from the Home Depot...

Man, this car is just begging to get started on...

Great start on your garage! Nice joinery on your bench--can't make them too stout.

One thing, the bench looks pretty close to the outside door. If you're not going to move it, I would think about enclosing the weather end and putting a few coats of paint or something waterproof on it to protect the bench itself and stuff stored on the shelf.

Looking a lot better! Don't leave that masking tape on to long if it gets hot. It will leave a sticky mess.

Nice bench and a great vise I grew up with one and recently got one off ebay. My brother got the first. Is that a steel top?
