Hey guys, I recently bought my first home with a 2 car garage which I will be redoing over the next few weeks. Here is a picture of it as I inherited it with a garagetek slat wall. The interior brick wall is pretty cool and I plan on leaving it as is.

I really don't like the yellow baseboard and cheap plastic cabinets so I am already yanking that out. I am planning to do the following:
Paint walls and roof
Racedeck Freeflow tiles - ordered today
Kobalt cabinets - ordered today
Organize and try to integrate some of the garagetek components.

I will post here as I make progress. Any suggestions would be welcome, I would like to do some lighting as well, but that will be later.

Your off to a great start for sure. I would say your lucky to be left with that stuff. And the brick wall is very cool. What colour scheme or design are you going for? And what colours did you order for your RD flooring?

I ordered black and red freeflow tiles, similar to your setup actually. I am going with a dark grey, red, and black color scheme. I think it will contrast the white slat wall and blend a bit with the brick. I will post more pics as I make progress.

The garagetek system is ok, but the yellow is hideous. I had a gladiator system in my town home which was much better in my opinion

I love the brick wall, that wouldl look real good with some vintage sytle automotive/service station signage. Hobby Lobby has a nice selection of stuff that is pretty reasonable.

Yup, the dark grey actually blends with the brick well. Once the cabinets come in later today, I will take some better pictures. It may need some crown molding where the drywall meets the brick, but that and lighting will come in the future, did enough this weekend :)
