I have been lurking for quite a while and sometimes just spend hours drooling. Some of you guys have incredible imaginations & have to have days with more than 24 hours in them.
I am self employed & business isn't great. I also have 2 little kids, my oldest just turned 3. So needless to say money is VERY tight. However I need to do something about my garage. It is about 20' wide by 24' deep. I rebuilt it, it was an old carriage house. i live in a part of NY where 50' X 100' property is the norm bigger is impossible & if you find it is unaffordable to us normal guys.
So when i rebuilt it I stretched what i could without drawing to much attention or too many additional taxes.... so the garage is what it is, but the interior can still go a long way.
So my wife & kids get to park in the garage & i have my bikes in there, it's a two car but .... this is what we put in it. I want it more utilitarian... I need it to be more useful. We do use it for minor repairs, detailing.
It's lacking more storage, better lighting, i'd like to start restoring my lincoln in it without making a mess.
I figured i would put the picks out there & see what suggestions you guys came up with.
I have 2 gladiator work benches(6' & 8') great products but expensive, a gladiator tall locker & my tool box, the cabinets i put together from old laminate we had laying around.
I feel like i am rambling ...lets see some pics.
so if anybody has any ideas or some free upgrades... because thats my budget, let me know!!!
