@niget2002 - yes that's how I'm thinking I would make it work! 2 independent tracks, with 6 feet wide doors that I can simply move aside.

@Dig Doug - do you think this will work? Using 2 independent tracks takes away the complexity of bypass door issues with such a long length.

I have 10 foot ceilings in the garage and I'm planning on adding wooden shelving, so I will have a fairly robust structure in place lag bolted to the garage walls. I want to add barn doors to cover the storage shelves - and leave 1 feet of space between the door and shelves for any bulky...
