For Sale:

A #2 Morse Taper Jacobs drill chuck

shaft is labled "No. 2 Morse Taper with No. 3 Jacobs Taper" - I believe this means that the shank / shaft is a #2 Morse Taper, but that the actual Jacobs chuck has a #3 Jacobs taper inside the drill chuck

I do NOT have the key that is used to tighten the drill bit into the chuck

asking $35.00 SHIPPED

Info on the chuck is as follows:

chuck is marked "Jacobs Chuck No. 36 Capacity 3/16 - 3/4" that marking is right below the "teeth" where the wrench or whatever fits into the chuck to tighten the drill bit into the chuck

on the shank / taper / spindle of the chuck is the following information:

Part # A0203 Jacobs Chuck Arbor "No 2 Morse Taper with No. 3 Jacobs Taper"

the chuck opens / closes fine to accept and lock onto a drill bit

the "tang" on the shank (flat part at the end of the shank) is probably a 7.5 out of 10 - it could use a little truing up, but nothing I'd be afraid of

I bought it surplus, so I've never used it, but it seems straight and true
