Hello!
I used Rustoleum 2 part water based epoxy paint w/o tint option. So far so good. However I didn't receive the "deep or thick" look that I had received Rustoleum Rock Solid polycuramine epoxy in another area.
So I decided to add a Rustoleum clear top coat.
I didn't realize that the clear gloss top coat wasn't a water based expoxy gloss coat.
It is very tacky in areas...if you stand in certain spots too long- you have to pull your shoes "unstuck"
From the pictures you can see the dark spots... yes someone decided to park on it after 72 hours!
From reading your posts - I realize I'm not going to be satisfied with the two part water based expoxy. I would like to replace it with the polycuramine rock hard expoxy by Rustoleum.
The current coating has color flake & anti skid.
Do I need to completely remove the "new" water based expoxy floor coating before replacing with the polycuramine? Or what advice can you give me on correcting my mistakes?? You time and thoughtfulness is appreciated.
