so i bought a lift from a guy whose been selling them for 30 years. Seems like i got ripped, cos ad said 9k for xxxx, called and he said he has a 10k only for $250 more. Gets delivered and guy says its a 9k, im like well i paid for a 10k. The he says bendpak discontinued one because the 9 and 10 are the same (called seller and said whyd you upsell me on the same lift?). Either way already a little pi$$ed - he said its the older style where posts face straight fwd, but the arms are not the same length?

I though symmetrical lifts used same length arms?

Also said its too small for my f250 2005, says i need an 11k- mines the narrow version and not extendable - delivery guy said i could put my f250 on-

what to do - this is for leisure and mostly mustang and camaro work bt i would def like to pull the ford up if i need to do anything.

Now i did some reading regarding axle weight etc and not 100% sure what to take as usable value (mine came up around 4500 to 5k total front/vs rear) and im absolutely sure the bendpak will handle 3-400 extra lbs over spec like fuel/tools etc..

Thanks

I bought my BP 10 k assymetrical lift through Summit Racing a few years ago.

I like dealing with them. They price matched the best internet deal I could find in a couple of minutes on the phone and they don’t jerk you around.

F250 weight is under 9000lbs and shouldn't be any problem unless it has a different bed on it throwing the weight way off.

Get the model number and then download the manual from BendPak to get real information on what the lift is and how much weight it can support.

Also figure out how much your F250 weights. Not a big chance it is over 7000 lbs. This will stress out a 9K lift to the max if you are lifting the vehicle all the way to the top, but if your ceilings aren't heigh enough to do that, you have even less to worry about.
