i have been searching for months for a lift and decided on a Forward 10 k 2 post lift, I shopped it for price, realiability, etc.. I compared it to Bend-pak and all the other big boys, but when it came down to it, they all are made overseas, they all had the certificates, so what was the difference,,,

Price,,,,, I paid for them to deliver it and install it, best money ever spent. took two guys 2.5 hrs and they were done...

works like a champ....
This is my f-350 4x4 on the lift all the way up

Very cool. Where did you find it on the web? As soon as we thaw from all this stupid snow and ice I'll be ordering mine. Leaning toward a BendPak.

Would love to dive the cave. I should get certified! What is the price compared to the Bendpaks? I have trucks about 5 days a week in TX. I could pick it up.

my cost was 2500. before install and tx, if you have a truck that comes to houston southside i am sure you could pick it from the dudes warehouse,,

Lively, as you can see its a little bit less

I lifted my one ton ford last night on it, no issues what so ever and walked underneath it easily, i am 5,11
very pleased with the whole package and outcome

For $250 more and a drive to Dallas you could have bought an American made 10k Whip lift.

Its too bad Whip doesnt advertise more because their stuff is by far the nicest lift <$3000.

At that angle it looks like it barely fit but that is great that it did. How are you liking it?

Forward is a Rotary company so a good product but it seems you can find a BendPak 10,000 asymmetric two post for under $2700.00 which includes shipping to your door. You could have saved the sales tax had you bought the BendPak or other brand out of state. With that in mind, you’re probably about even. That’s where the rubber starts hitting the road. If you’re close to evenly priced what should be considered? Isn’t Forward Rotary’s inexpensive brand?

FYI, I've called Whip before and their "value" line is made offshore. I am in the market for 3 10k lifts and would have loved to have something made in the states for that price.

I bought mine for pennies more than $3000 shipped through one of their dealers. I called them(Whip) directly to double check and I was assured the WAS10 is entirely manufactured in Texas using American steel.....the only offshore parts are the cables.

I can forward you the Dealers name if you want to contact them.

How long ago did you purchase? I called them within the last 3 months and thats what I was told at the time. I can get SPOA10 (Rotary) for $3500 delivered, so I think I'll probably go that route myself. Then again, Spring/ Summer is around the corner and I might roll the dice with either Forward or Direct lifts so I can spread my money around and buy a new A/C machine.

It was delivered Dec 27th or 28th. I told my buddy the same thing I did you and he went ahead and bought a Direct lift 10k and 12k..... I am not selling them or trying to make a deal...but I have seen a Bendpak next to a Whip and it was evident which one was better built/finished. And the Whip vs. Direct lift- I won't even comment on that.

Its your money. But I got mine through a dealer for less than Whip sells direct.

I have this same lift only badged as a Direct Lift. I shopped around for a year, although I live 40 miles from the Mohawk factory, I chose this 10k lift. I previously owned a auto repair franchise in Tampa which had Forward Lifts (6) and never had a problem even lifting several Hummer H1 diesels, that convinced me that with repeated commercial use and Not a single failure of these lifts it is a great lift and therefore when I needed one for my personal use I had to go with a proven economical lift. You sir have a great lift enjoy.

Actually Rotary bought forward. Forward lifts are not low end lifts. They are very good lifts. Rotary's inexpensive line is called "REVOLUTION"
