I finished the install of my new 9000 atlas lift and did a test load on an old Chevy C10. After several successful lifts I put my 08 F250 Ext cab short bed on it and like many other post I've read had trouble deciding on the rear lift point. I settled on the frame as far back as I could reach. It was even on the upward curve just past the spring mount. Gas tank on driver side gives little pad coverage and unsafe angle so I want something safer. Now my lift is the PV9 that is both asymmetric/symmetric arm config. My post was right in the middle of the door. My question is has anyone lifted using the spring mount itself. I've put floor jacks under them for years but not sure I want to test it on my truck 6 ft in the air. I haven't tried on the frame before the upward curve because it seems just too far forward. I even thought about the cab mount surfaces. Any thoughts or suggestions
