Is there any floor plate models you can relocate thru the attic?

I have 9 ft 4 inch ceilings in my garage, and I'd really don't like the idea of having a floor plate.

I should also add, I only work on small sports cars, nothing over 4500 lbs.

If you have sufficient skill then any of them would work fine. You’d need custom length cables. I don’t see though the advantage. Just buy an overhead model and assemble that through the attic.

If you mean re-routing cables and such overhead - none I've ever seen and would not even try that as a modification.

You'd need to measure what the clearance is under the roof peak - depending on which way things run - unless you have a room over the garage.

Floor plate hasn't been an issue for me.

A Mohawk lift doesn’t have a floor plate. It uses two stainless steel hydraulic lines that can be routed any way you want. above the rafters, around the walls, under the concrete, doesn’t matter.

My ceiling is 16’ tall and I still had them run mine above the rafters.

I sent a request thru their site, I read on here it's quite pricey.

Watched that video and one thing was the guy didn't properly set the anchor bolts. Should have drilled through the slab and the anchors should have been set a little deeper.

I was also surprised at that 4 hours of video. I just fast jumped around until I saw what he did to the ceiling. So yeah, that is the cost effective way of dealing with it.

If you don't have much room above the ceiling, that will limit your choice of lifts some, but there are the Grand Prix lifts that will be short if you need a short one.
