also there pretty fast on the shipping, I had mine in less than a week to the conway terminal.
One more thing if your picking it up at the terminal make sure your prepared to deal with the way they ship them with the raised angle iron frames on each end.
I wasn't prepared for that even though I brought everything but the kitchen sink.
I new the lift would over hang my trailer but I wasn't prepared for the frames on each end, lucky the guy at conway gave me a couple of pallets.

This is the lift i purchased in April 2009. I have used it hundreds of times and have not regretted it for a second. The whole family loves me know. I paid delieved to a terminal 90 minutes from home $1633. My brother is an ASE cert tech and he appreciates it and he has experiance with dozens if not hundereds of lifts.

As far as the clearance issue I had the same so I added a bay to my attached garage. If i think of it i will take some pics to night and post it. It isn't beautiful but when you consider what the goal was it looks good and blends fairly well. My girlfriend doesn't appreciate it but the rest of the family does. Hopefully pics tomorrow.

Can you tell me who they are? If a road trip to Texas would save a lot of shipping cost, The price might not be even as much as you mentioned in the end.
Mike

Trust me, your road trip will cost you more than LTL Freight to your local Terminal.

Not only that, but many companies must also charge you TAX when you pick it up -

- tax on your gas
- tax on your tolls
- tax on the product

= more dinero than supporting the truck drivers...

Nice! Any other comments with respect to your particular lift? What cars do yo use it on? How is the clearance around the doors. I'm considering the same lift!
