Nice guy "Lowbucktruck" had asked me months ago for photos of two Proto tool boxes which I had gotten at an estate auction. I'm just now getting them posted. (Sorry LBT! I just forgot. :dunno:)

Anyway, there are two nearly identical boxes with tool trays in them. I have been using them as temporary storage for some of the thousands of sockets I bought last year at estate sales, auctions, swap meets, etc.

Following are some photos. First box:

And here are pix of the second box. Someone wrote all over the crinkle-brown finish with something which looks like light-pink nail polish. I took some of it off of one letter (The "T" in the word "Set" at the upper right side of the lid). But all I had to work with tonight was nail polish remover. I think something a little hotter, like pure lacquer thinner might do the trick...if it doesn't also remove the brown paint.

Pics of the second box:

"Lowbucktruck" has first shot at these, but if he doesn't want them, I'll be putting them in the classifieds. Obviously the tools inside the box are not to be included with the box.

Thanks! -----Lump

DanCo,
No worries, young man.

Good luck in finding that new job. Hopefully, with some of the signs we've been seeing lately, the economy might start inching its way back this coming spring. And there is always a need for good technicians; especially during times when people are tending to fix their older cars, instead of buying new ones.
