Had an electrician out to put our microwave on a separate circuit, plus convert some CFL kitchen ceiling lights to LED. Question #1) We have a light switch on the opposite end of our kitchen & it would cost $300 bucks to run a wire from the existing switch to add a new switch (making it a 3 way switch) so we don't have to walk across the room to turn on that over head light. The electrician said that we could just get a smart/wireless switch at HD and get the same thing without running a new wire. He said we could even get it with a dimmer?? Is this possible? Anyone have any links or instructions on how to do this? What kind of wireless switch was he referring to? Question #2) Had the electrician convert 6 existing kitchen ceiling CFL lights into LED lights, PLUS he added 2 more. The existing 6 were converted with some kind of kit by SUNCO. The last 2 were not the same since they were not converting/changing a CFL to LED. (new can & LED), but all 8 lights look exactly the same from below. Now my wife wants to add to 2 more LED ceiling lights. I saw the guy install the LED lights and it didn't look too hard. The measuring & drilling/cutting the circles out I can leave to my son, but how do I tap into the the last lights to power the additional 2 lights that the boss wants?

Thanks. Every wireless switch I look at presumes that I already have a 3-way switch. All I have is a single switch (Black, White, and green wires), but it's on the other side of our kitchen. My wife and I are both seniors, and i am disabled, so it's really a pain to have to go across the room (it's almost 20 feet long)) to flip a switch on or off

Question #1:
I used this
Did you have a similar situation to ours? (we have a long kitchen and a light switch we need to turn on/off is at the other end. The switch is a 3 wire, not 3 way. It's just a black, white and ground wire that turns on a light). If so, did this switch you got work for your needs?
