My local Groupon (Fairfield County, CT) has this deal:
$20 to spend at Sears for $10

I don't know if it's available nationally, but if you have Groupon account, just search for Sears.

There are a ****-load of restrictions (mostly on brand name clothes and cosmetics), but of interest to this group:
"Not valid at Sears Hometown, Outlet, Appliance Showroom, Hardware stores, or Sears locations in AK, HI, PR, US Virgin Islands, or Guam. Not valid on ... hot buys, deal flash, or everyday great price items."

If you haven't completely given up on Craftsman yet, it's a good deal.

Is this for a coupon?

I know they can restrict their coupons to specific departments, and it certainly sounds like this won't work on Craftsman tools or lawn products:

"$10 for $20 worth of apparel, footwear, home, and jewelry products"
and
"Valid for $20 off of purchase of Apparel, Footwear, Fine Jewelry and Home products."

If they give a gift card, then it would be unrestricted and for both in-store or online use.

Can't you buy groupons through your SYWR account? I think that there is some sort of system to get you points if you do that.

I assume tools fall under the "home" products. I can't find anything in the fine print that specifies what that means.

The groupon page has it tagged "home improvement," defined as "Do it yourself, from home repairs to renovation projects."

Yep tools is tools (explicitly states "tools") whereas home is bed, bath, blah blah blah SYW keeps giving me IN STORE ONLY $10 off $30 Hope Dept. (bed, bath, luggage, houseware)
coupons...it's really annoying since I ONLY buy tools and avoid Sears stores as much as possible except to pick up my tools and GTFO
