What drawer liners? Checked the inside of the drawers and saw nothing, tried to pull the drawers and couldn't get them out using the bent hacksaw blades that work on the old SO boxes with friction slides. Didn't put a lot of time in it, will try again.

Any suggestions?

Yeah, I looked up the SO bearing splitters and the big one list for $190 amd the smaller one lilst for $86.55. The SO bar type puller yoke without pusher bolt is $70. Just looked closer and 3 of the other 4 pullers are SO. Battery terminal puller CJ92, list $55. CJ97, couldn't find and a CJ83-2 is a pressure screw on a ford Pitman arm puller (I think).

Very happy!!!!!!!!!

You **** soooo bad that "You ****" just doesn't cover it. Gotta find a new term for those who just **** so mega incredibly outrageously bad like this....:lol_hitti

Been wanting/watching for a set of Cornwell, Martin, Fairmont, or Mac angle wrenches for awhile now (for a killer/steal of a price/bid like you got). Same for the crowfoots

Notice the rubber washers are still present on the Wilton. Low use and $50. Great deal for the buyer.

So whatcha gonna do with that Cornwell box?

Going to sell it. Most of the tools I buy are for resale except for some of the older ones. Its a hobby that pays for itself,,,,,,until I factor my time in of course. I love going to auctions and seeing what I can buy and I enjoy selling the tools to folks who come into my shop.

My shop is in an industrial park with a few mechanical and auto body shops and I have neighbors who sometimes won't let me get the stuff off the truck before they come shopping. I'll keep some tools and supplies for myself but most get sold.

I'm hoping to semi-retire in 4 years and this may develope into a small business, but who knows.

That box has a lot of potential - hammer finish, so on.

At least you are disciplined enough to sell tools. I've given up on buying tools to resell - I want to keep them all!

That said - what are you asking for the box?

$50. plus shipping. its weighs 60 lbs so ups will be a little pricey. I'm not real excited about shipping it but I will for a GJ member. Just as soon sell it locally.

The one nice thing about the box is it is straight, should turn out real nice if prepped properly.

Yea, $50 would still be a steal locally. I hope you plan on listing on local CL for 3x that at first.

I may list it on CL, but I'd still be happy with $50. I don't plan on cleaning it and I already have a set of snap on boxes to redo, so I don't need any projects. I may take your advice and list it at $150 to see what happens but for that much I think I'd need a real Cornwell buff.

I'm interested in that box, and am local (but feel free to sell it if you get an offer).

Have you been able to get the sliders to release and pull the drawers out completely?

I don't care about how it looks, but I'd want it to work really well. So, I'd pull all the drawers and clean/lube all the sliders. But I want to make sure that's possible (and that they work reasonably well to begin with).

Thanks.

Haven't looked at the drawers yet but if you are available on Sun. you can stop by. Wanted to meet with you anyway. PMing info.

The drawers work pretty well and probably don't have to be removed to be cleaned and lubed, but thats your call.
