Looks like a 3 phase motor, maybe 11XX RPM.
Yes its a 3hp 3phase motor. I have a rotory phase converter that should work with it

I have a Wilton branded 20" grinder that looks very much like your grinder. I added a rotation switch to it so the disk could turn either direction. They are good quality machines.
