They have had 40% and 50% off coupons in the past, but have not seen anything higher than 30% for six months or so. Maybe with the summer coming the better coupons will return.

You can stack the coupons with speedperks, so an $80 purchase can net at $42 after speedperks and coupon, close to 50% off.

AA has had coupons over 30% in the past. I've used multiple in the 2015-2016 timeframe. ASAIK they had very few use limitations.

Recently, AA has been far less generous with their coupon offerings. Some of their coupon codes have limitations (as in a min purchase). Yesterday I loaded up my cart with a few items and tried to use the HXJ6BX code but was shot down because my order did not meet the minimum $$$ threshold (I was under the assumption the code had no minimum).

I've been using AA for over 30 years, mostly because I have one only 1.5 miles from home. If you need something quick ... AA may be the right choice. If you can plan your project ahead of time places like Rockauto are superior in price.

How small was your order? I used that code on a $15 purchase, as well as some larger ones.

Another thought - some items, such as oil and certain sale prices, are excluded from the coupon, were you possibly trying to buy excluded items?

$50 PER ORDER - break the purchase into more than one order. If you are buying a single item that is over the threshold (do they sell anything that expensive?) talk to the store manager, they can apply online coupons and override limits. Often they will give a 20% or higher discount just for asking.

Or wait for and use a code without a maximum limit.

I always check Retailmenot for AA percent off codes. 30% off is the lowest I’ve used. There is currently a 30% off site wide code.
