So I have an extra 200 bucks to spend on a tool, what should I get, I was thinking about getting the fluke i410 current clamp to use with my fluke 289 but im not sure if ill get much use out of it as I can't remember the last time I was checking current that high but you never know I might need it to check a starter draw one day, I was also thinking about the hi-vis volt pro, I like how you can use it to be a load on the circuit that might come in handy one day, I was thinking about the power probe kit but not sure how useful that would be I will also have to save a little bit more to get that, actually this is the last but not least I was also thinking about the blue point uv dye kit to detect ac leaks I don't how good they are though and haven't heard much about them, so how about some ideas before I give amazon my money

Thanks

No idea what you have already. Maybe put it in your pocket and watch for a good deal on something local. You will be ready to strike when it comes up.

Why buy the hi-vis pro if you own a 289?

I ask, as the 289 can do the same functions and a lot more.

I have an on going list of tools that I want to purchase. As I buy something it gets marked off and as I think of stuff, it gets added.

For $200, I'd be crossing some things off my list.

Keep it until you are working on something one day and you find that you NEED a specific tool that you do not have. OR think back to the last time you borrowed a tool from someone and see if buying that tool would be a good investment.
